Expected result: The expected result is to define the rate of vulnerability in terms of increasing urban area with respect to the threshold value of filled areas. The result will justify whether the deforested areas are captured with urbanization with the stipulated threshold value or not. Only 50% area should be covered with the urban growth and the remaining 30% by the urban green and the rest 20% by the open parcels of land or others.
Forest density is a commonly collected attribute in management forest inventories. Forest density provides an indication of ecological attributes such as habitat potential,forest fragmentation, forest successional stage and regeneration success after a disturbance. Forest density is commonly applied as a stratifying attribute in models, such as those which estimate biomass or forest fire fuel types.As a consequence, density is included in the suite of attributes to be estimated from satellite data as a component of the NFI (et. al. Wulder).
